The International
Asian Newspaper Awards™ 2007
ceremony is one of the most visible activities
of the British Asian Film Academy.
The awards acknowledge newspaper articles,
which are based on Asian theme
and rewards and promotes endeavours and
excellences of people in newspaper industry.
British Asian Film Academy
also honours other individuals with awards
in recognition of their contribution to
the newspaper industry. These awards are
approved by the Academy's Newspaper Awards
Committee, which is made up of various
veterans and high achievers in media,
entertainment and broadcasting industry.
The International Asian Newspaper
Awards™ 2007 consider every
eligible newspaper article for nomination
across the globe as long as the newspaper
article is based on an Asian theme.
The article could be from anywhere
in the world and not necessarily from
Asia or an article by an Asian.
The article must be in English.
The date of publication of the newspaper
articles should be between 1st Jan, 2007
and 31st Dec, 2007. The newspaper article
could be from anywhere in the world and
not necessarily Asia as long as it is
based on Asian theme and is in English.
The copy of the newspaper article presented
with the nomination must be original cutting
of the newspaper and the date of publication
must be clearly visible. You are required
to attach a copy of the filled nomination
form with any other material that will
help your nomination.
For Administration Cost
for each nomination, there is a charge
of £40 pounds sterling, which is
to be paid by the nominee or the organization
that the nominee articles for.
Return of material presented
with nominations requires a postage cost
of £10.00 pounds sterling to be
paid by the nominee or the organization
that the nominee works for.
Judges decision is final; however
the nominee can request a hard copy of
the deliberation at a cost of £10.00
pounds sterling to cover postage costs.

We have extended the closing date for The International Asian Newspaper Awards™ 2007 from 12 AM of 31st March, 2008 to 12 AM of 31st July, 2008
